Dan cut his teeth in security and protective operations as a Cell Extraction Team and Quick Reaction Force member of the Greensville Correctional Center, the largest prison facility in Virginia. A high performer and stand-out talent, he graduated the BCO course with honors and received subject matter certifications in Detainee Management, High-Risk Transport, Mental Health, Drug Interdiction, and Gang/Security Threat Group Awareness.

Transitioning from Greensville Correctional Center to Leftwich Global Protective Services, Dan has earned FEMA certifications in Counterterrorism, Emergency Management & Preparedness, First Responder, First Aid and Tactical Combat Casualty Care. Dan recently completed Maritime Security Specialist and Anti-Piracy Team Operator with Trident Group America.

Mr Gilbert has led diverse private security operations including High Threat Transport Security, Estate Security, Workplace Violence Mitigation, and has received praise from clients in film and television, politicians, and athletic Hall of Famers.
