[Lt Col William G. Leftwich Jr.] could have been CEO of any company in the country, a U.S. Senator, a Congressman or even President of the United States but he chose to go to Vietnam and fight and die for us... I talked to any number of Marine colonels and generals over him who said, ‘Ross, that guy would’ve been Commandant of the Marine Corps’… He was just one of the finest men I’ve ever known and America should never forget people like that… Great man, big loss.
I’m a little ashamed of the fact that I was recently informed some of our officers don’t “know who Leftwich is.” I’m ashamed because I quite literally named the company to honor his legacy as a superior leader and an unsung American hero.
I had started building a biographical webpage for this site last spring, but when I returned from training in CO I had to hit the ground running and it was put off. I took this week to “finish” it. I will be running a Physical Readiness Test tomorrow, February 25, 2023, for the Team Leaders, in Fredericksburg at 1600 on the track at James Monroe HS. If it fits with your schedule and you’d like to get it done and out of the way for the season, all are welcome to join us. If you’re working or otherwise unable to join us, expect to hear from your Team Leaders about other opportunities. The goal is to have 90% of our staff complete by March 15th.
